Many types of backgammon problems can be solved using formulas and rules, with no positional judgment required. Most players have studied these methods, but still make major errors applying them over the board, often due to a lack of deliberate practice at selecting and executing the right ones. This site provides drills to learn these methods and (more importantly) practice executing them, so that when these problems come up you can handle them quickly and confidently.
